My Story

Welcome to my blog!

Who am I? Short answer, I help marketers to make basic sense of internet.

I did not start out as a 20 year old internet marketing guru. I wish, wholeheartedly. I am a mom, and an immigrant in Canada. I was born and grown up in China. I started my career seeking the employment with foreign companies. In five years, I worked my way up to the senior executive level in fortune 500 companies. In 2000, I decided to give up everything and moved to Canada to pursue bigger dream.

One headline on local newspaper caught my attention, “A rocket scientist from China is selling cinnamon buns in subway”. The line woke me up, like someone hit church bell right into my ears. I made decision that I am not going to live like that.

I started looking for answers. At first, I devoted my time on studying the system. I went back to school, learned ins and outs of the market, the culture and the people, and applied what I learned. My effort paid off. I served two national leading companies in the fields of public relations and print media, and helped others with my knowledge as a financial advisor.

While looking for marketing strategies for my business, I was amazed about the information and opportunities I found online. Finally, I found the path to my dream, internet marketing.

I hope to share the information I gained through my experience, the lessons I learned from my mistakes, and the opportunities I come crossed, that have changed my life, with those in need.
